On 19 March 2025, the Royal Thai Embassy in Brussels and the European Institute for Asian Studies (EIAS) co-hosted a seminar on the Thailand-EU Strategic Economic Partnership in Brussels. The event coincided with the visit of Mr. Werapong Prapha, Thailand Trade Representative, for discussions with EU institutions, the private sector, and trade associations. It gathered 135 participants, including ambassadors and diplomats, representatives from the European Commission, the European Parliament, academia, and business sectors.
