On 3 April 2025, H.E. Mrs. Kanchana Patarachoke, Ambassador of Thailand to Belgium, Luxembourg, and the European Union, met with H.E. Mr. Nicolas Mackel, Permanent Representative of Luxembourg to the EU. Both sides exchanged views on the ongoing geo-political and geo-economic development, regional conflicts, and Thailand-EU-Luxembourg relations, especially on supporting the conclusion of a Thai-EU FTA and advancing cooperation on sustainable finance between Thailand and Luxembourg. The importance of adhering to rules-based multilateralism and open, free and fair trade was also discussed.
