Importation of Cannabis to Thailand

Those who wish to import cannabis and hemp into Thailand must follow all applicable regulations, including the declarations made by the Department of Agriculture regulating pests and diseases linked to cannabis seeds and restricting the import of the seeds as well as undergo customs clearance. If you bring it into the country in an illegal manner or through customs channels without a license from related authorities, you will be subject to fines and/or prison sentence in accordance with the Customs Act of 2017. In the case that you wish to carry cannabis out of Thailand to South Korea, Japan, Vietnam, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, or any other countries where it remains illegal, you risk being fined, jailed or, in the worst case, sentenced to death.
