EXPLANATION
Visa validity | as indicated on the e-visa (“Valid from - Valid until"), refers to the time limit that you must use your visa to Thailand. Normally, an e-visa is valid for 3 months, which means once you receive the e-visa, you must enter Thailand within that time. |
Permitted Period of Stay | Your visa starts from the day that you first arrive in Thailand. The permitted length of stay depends on the type of visa—for example, a tourist visa allows up to 60 days, a non-immigrant visa allows up to 90 days, etc." |
If you want to stay longer or change your visa type, you need to apply for an extension at the Immigration Bureau in Bangkok or at an immigration office in other provinces. The extension is at the discretion of the immigration officer. For more details, visit the Immigration Bureau’s website at www.immigration.go.th
ALL visa applications must be submitted through https://thaievisa.go.th/ (e-Visa website) only.
The Embassy will not provide any information regarding the status of visa applications via telephone/email. Applicants are advised to monitor their application status through the ThaiEvisa system.
Video User Manual : Guide to Thailand E-Visa Application
The Embassy strongly advises all applicants to carefully read the e-Visa System user manual or user's manual video clips before starting their application. It's important to fill out the application carefully to avoid mistakes. Any errors could result in your application being canceled or rejected, and the visa fee will NOT be refunded in any case.
