NON-ED PLUS

Non-ED Plus Visa aims to facilitate international students studying at universities in Thailand at the bachelor's degree level or above.

Benefits

  • Exempted from Re-Entry Permit 
  • During the course of study, foreign students in bachelor degree level or higher can depart and re-enter Thailand without the need for a re-entry permit.
  • For the extensions of stays, universities/institutions will submit the visa extension application on behalf of the students.
  • Extended Stay for Graduated Student
  • Foreign students are allowed to extend the stay in Thailand for 1 year after graduating, to seek employment, travel or participate in other activities and are eligible to apply for new type of visa in Thailand if employed.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED

- Visa application form completely filled out
- Passport or travel document with validity not less than 6 months and a copy of passport
- One (4 x 6 cm.) photograph of the applicant (taken within the last 6 months). The photograph must have a light color background with a full-face view of the person without wearing a hat or dark glasses and covering up shoulders.

* Additional document for each purpose of stay as follows:
- Original letter from the school, training institution or company in Thailand – The letter must be typed in the school/company’s letter head signed by authorised person and a copy of school license or business registration (Copies of documents must be signed by authorised person and affixed with the official seal)
- Original letter from the school, university or institute in which the applicant is currently enrolled, confirming the student status and the purpose of visit to the Kingdom of the applicant
- Official Note certifying the purpose of travel from the Government Agencies / Embassies or Consulates / International Organisations / State Enterprises inThailand
- Evidence of adequate finance. In case that the applicant is sponsored by a family member, a letter of sponsorship and a proof of relationship (i.e. birth certificate, marriage certificate) must be provided.

In the absence of a required document, a letter explaining the unavailability of such document must be provided.
