Adoption Registration

General information

1. The Royal Thai Embassy is not authorised to receive applications for the adoption of Thai children abroad.
2. Foreigners or Thai nationals residing in Belgium/Luxembourg who wish to adopt Thai children must process their request via the recognised organisations:

4. After following all adoption procedures, if the adoption committee of the Adoption Centre authorises the applicants to complete the adoption procedures, they will send a note to inform the embassies and carry out administrative procedures.
5. After receiving the file from the Department of Children and Youth through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand (Department of Consular Affairs), the Embassy will contact the parents and schedule an appointment to proceed with the formalities of adoption.
