The Embassy’s volunteering activity on the occasion of the Birthday Anniversary of the Queen of Thailand
           On 12 June 2024, the Royal Thai Embassy and the offices of Team Thailand in Brussels organised a volunteering activity on the occasion of the Birthday Anniversary of the Queen of Thailand 3 June 2024. Meal boxes and donated items were given to Restos du Coeur organisation (Address: Rue de Bosnie 22, Saint-Gilles, 1060, Brussels) for distributing to homeless and disadvantaged people in the area who are both Belgian as well as refugees and migrants.
           Restaurants du Coeur or Restos du Coeur, founded in 1985 in Belgium, gives away prepared meals and grocery or charges at minimal prices, to homeless people, low-income families, and elderly people with low pensions. Restos du Coeur has been working with food suppliers, supermarkets, interested organisations/individuals to source ingredients and products. Currently, the organisation’s cafeteria in Saint-Gilles district of Brussels provides hot meals for lunch and operates a grocery store that gives away products free of charge or at low prices.              For more information and donation, please visit their website at https://restosducoeur.be/fr/
