On 5 November 2023, Miss Warunee Pan-Krajang, Chargé d’Affaires a.i., the Royal Thai Embassy in Brussels, attended the Buddhist Kathina ceremony celebrating the end of the Buddhist Lent at Wat Thai Dhammaram, Waterloo, Belgium. Phra Raja Visuddhivides, the Most Venerable Abbot of the Temple and other 7 monks from Wat Thai Dhammaram, Buddharama Temple Sint-Nikklas, and Wat Thai Buddharama Luxembourg, led the participants in prayers and gave blessings. This year, more than 100 faithful Thais and foreigners from Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg participated the event and jointly offered new robes and food for the monks. The Embassy also provided Thai food for temple-goers at the almshouse.
