On 1 November 2023, the Embassy organised an informal gathering for Thai students studying in Belgium for the year 2023 at Thai Time restaurant, Leuven, Belgium. Around 30 Thai students from across Belgium, including Brussels, Leuven, Antwerp, Ghent, Mons and Namur, have participated. At the event, the students, especially the new comers, got to know each other, build networking, and learned about the work of the Embassy in various aspects. They also exchanged views on future activities of the Thai Student Association in Belgium (TSAB) in 2023-2024 and some volunteered as a focal point for Thai students in each city. On this occasion, Minister Counsellor Patcharamon Siriwatana reiterated the Embassy’s full support for TSAB activities and presented, on behalf of the Embassy, the Embassy’s financial support for the students.
