On 27 August 2023, Minister Warunee Pan-krajang, Royal Thai Embassy in Brussels, attended the Buddhist ceremony marking the 91^st Birthday Anniversary of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit the Queen Mother on 12 August 2023 and the Thai family day organised by Wat Dhammaprateep, Mechelen, Belgium. The Minister led the well-wishers -- Thais and Belgians -- in prayer service and paying homage to Her Majesty the Queen Mother. On this occasion, the Minister presented offering on behalf of the Royal Thai Embassy to Phra Khruvinaithorn Somsak Subhalert,the Abbot of Wat Dhammaprateep, and the participating monks, including Phramaha Yutthapong Sarikan, the Abbot of Wat Thai Buddharama Luxembourg. The Minister also took this opportunity to meet Thai community and listen to their concerns and requests on consular matters. After the event, the Consular Section of the Embassy has followed up and addressed all the concerns and requests and is considering organising a mobile consular service at Wat Dhammaprateep in the year 2024 subject to availability, demand, and convenience of Wat Dhammaprateep.
