On 31 August 2023, H.E. Mr. Sek Wannamethee, Ambassador of Thailand, hosted a working lunch for Mr. Kris Peeters Vice President, and Mr. Edvardas Bumsteinas, Head of Asia Division, of the European Investment Bank (EIB) at the Ambassador’s residence. Ms. Warunee Pan-krajang, Minister and Deputy Head of Mission, and other Embassy diplomats participated in the discussions. The Ambassador and representatives of the EIB discussed areas of cooperation on Thailand’s BCG economic development, such as development of green infrastructure especially in the EEC as well as the knowledge sharing projects focusing on energy transition and digitalization. Additionally, they also discussed ASEAN-EU’s relations, which has recently seen positive momentum.
