On 24 November 2024, Ms. Patcharamon Siriwatana, Minister Counsellor, and the Embassy’s officials, on behalf of H.E. Mrs. Kanchana Patarachoke, Ambassador of Thailand to Belgium, attended the Buddhist ceremony on the occasion of Loy Krathong 2024 at Wat Buddharama, Sint Niklaas, Belgium. The ceremony was led by the Abbot of the Temple and two other monks. Participants prayed together and offered alms to the monks, then went to float Kra Thong, a small floatable basket filled with offering as token of gratitude towards the goddess of water.
