Training session for Volunteer Teachers in preparation for the opening of the Embassy’s Thai language class for children

            On 30 November and 1 December 2024, the Embassy organised a training session for volunteer teachers as the Embassy is preparing to open a Thai language class for Thai and half-Thai children in Belgium in January 2025. The Embassy invited three highly-experienced teachers from the School of Thai Language and Culture in Geneva to give lecture and lead a workshop for 10 volunteer teachers in Belgium. The lesson plan of the Thai language class of the Embassy is based on the set of textbooks namely “Sawasdee” composed by Kru Salee Silapasatham for children who do not use Thai language in their daily life.
