On 30 October 2024, H.E. Mrs. Kanchana Patarachoke, Ambassador of Thailand called on Ms. Camilla Brückner, Director, United Nations Office in Brussels. Both sides reaffirmed the strong partnership between Thailand and the United Nations, focusing especially on advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and fostering collaboration on these goals among Thailand, the UN, and other partners.

Thailand has a long-standing partnership with the United Nations, hosting the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP) and numerous UN regional offices. As one of the development partners of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), Thailand actively promotes the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) domestically, regionally and leverages South-South and Triangular cooperation at the international level to advance shared development objectives.
