On 22 October 2024, H.E. Mrs. Kanchana Patarachoke, Ambassador of Thailand, submitted copies of Letters of Credence to H.E. Ms. Lucie Samcová – Hall Allen, Chief of Protocol, European External Action Service. On this occasion, both sides discussed on close cooperation between Thailand and the European Union including the on-going FTA negotiations and the establishment of Joint Committee as well as sub-committees under the Thailand-EU Comprehensive Partnership and Cooperation Agreement (Thai – EU PCA) which has now been provisionally applied since 20 October 2024.

Subsequently, the Ambassador will formally present the Letters of Credence to the President of the European Council and President of the European Commission, accrediting her as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary and Head of Mission of Thailand to the European Union.
