On 27 May 2024, H.E. Mrs. Kanchana Patarachoke, Ambassador-Designate of Thailand to Belgium, Ms. Siribhusaya Ungphakorn, Minister, Office of Commercial Affairs in Brussels and officials from both the Embassy and Office of Commercial Affairs welcomed a delegation from the Standing Committee on Commerce and Intellectual Property, House of Representatives of Thailand, during their study visit to Belgium and the Netherlands.
The delegation was briefed on overall bilateral relations and trade relations between Thailand and the European Union. They were also briefed on the upcoming European Parliament elections on 9 June 2024. Views and suggestions to promote greater Thai-EU trade as well as ways to support Thai SMEs were also discussed.
