Volunteer activity in honour of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother on the occasion of Her Majesty’s birthday anniversary on 12 August 2024.

          On 28 August 2024, the Royal Thai Embassy in Brussels and the offices of Team Thailand in Brussels together with Wat Thai Dhammaram organised a volunteer activity on the occasion of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother’s birthday anniversary on 12 August 2024 at the social canteen of RestO & Compagnie, a non-profit organisation in Braine-l’Alleud, Belgium (address: Place du Môle 11, Braine-l'Alleud), by providing Thai food prepared by the chef of the Thai Residence, such as Chicken Massaman, stir-fried vegetables, etc., for around 50 seniors, elderly with low pension, and those in need.
           RestO & Compagnie was founded in 2014 as a social canteen of the city of Braine-l’Alleud where lunch is served at affordable price (3-5 euros) for seniors with low pension, the homeless and those in need. The organisation’s volunteers led by Mr. Serge gather ingredients and prepare meals every day.
