During 12–13 March 2026, H.E. Mrs. Kanchana Patarachoke, Ambassador of Thailand to Belgium, and diplomats from the Royal Thai Embassy participated in the Brussels European Defence Exhibition & Conference (BEDEX 2026) in Brussels. The event serves as a major international exhibition and forum on the defence and security industry, bringing together over 17,300 participants, including high-level representatives from the public sector, international organizations such as NATO and the European Commission, as well as leading defence companies from Europe and beyond.

 

At the event, the Ambassador participated in the activities for the diplomatic corps organised by Sablon Diplomatie Circle, including a briefing by Ambassador Pascal Heyman, diplomatic advisor of the Prime Minister of Belgium, and got to meet with H.E. Mr. Adrien Dolimont, Minister-President of the Walloon Government. The Ambassador also visited exhibition booths of leading Belgian and international companies to gain insights into the latest technological advancements and innovations in the sector.
