On 13 February 2026, Mr. Phil Lane, Executive Director, and Ms. Jutatip T. Sieben, Domestic Abuse Specialist, OASIS Belgium, called on Her Excellency Mrs. Kanchana Patarachoke, Ambassador of Thailand to Belgium, together with officials in charge of consular matters at the Royal Thai Embassy

 

The Royal Thai Embassy has been working closely with OASIS Belgium in various activities in support of the protection and empowerment of Thai community in Belgium. In 2025, OASIS Belgium handled 50 cases of Thai nationals in Belgium who faced difficult situations, and provided extensive counseling services. The Embassy stands ready to work with partner like Oasis Belgium to safeguard and promote the well-being of Thais in Belgium and Luxembourg.

 

On the same occasion, Ms. Jutatip T. Sieben, in her capacity as the President of the Thai Women Network in Europe, briefed on planned activities of the TWNE for this year. Both sides discussed ways to collaborate to further enhance the work in the field of the promotion and protection of Thai women's interests in Belgium as well as in Europe.
