On 31 January 2026, the Royal Thai Embassy in Brussels hosted the Buddhist Ceremony on the occasion of the 100-day anniversary of the Passing of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother. Her Excellency Mrs. Kanchana Patarachoke, Ambassador of Thailand to Belgium, presided over the ceremony, with participation of the Royal Thai Embassy officers, staff members and their families, as well as members of the Thai community. 4 Buddhist monks from Wat Thai Dhammaram (Waterloo), Wat Buddharama (Sint-Niklaas) and Wat Dhammapadeep (Mechelen) participated in the ceremony.
 
Subsequently, the Royal Thai Embassy hosted an activity to pay homage to the Queen Mother in front of the Embassy Office building, whereby the Ambassador delivered an eulogy in praise of the Queen Mother, all participants lighted candles, paid respect and observed one-minute silence to pay tribute and expressed profound gratitude to Her Majesty's boundless grace and benevolence.
