The International Bazaar Luxembourg 2024 at Luxexpo the Box
On 15 November 2024, H.E. Mrs. Kanchana Patarachoke, Ambassador of Thailand to Luxembourg, and Embassy diplomats attended the International Bazaar Luxembourg under royal patronage of Her Royal Highness the Grand Duchess of Luxembourg who presided over the event’s opening ceremony.
           The event featured about 60 stalls, each representing a country or a group of countries. These stalls were each beautifully decorated and sold food, drinks and various non-food items such as handicrafts, jewelry, clothing, bags and Christmas decorations, that are unique to their country. Event goers also enjoyed cultural performances from all corners of the globe.
            The Ambassador visited Thailand’s booth which was organised by Khun Penny, a Luxembourgish and friend of Thailand, and greeted the volunteers who helped to setup and manage the booth, selling Thai food cooked by Luxembourgish volunteers and from Simply Thai restaurant in Luxembourg, Thai drinks and Thai handicrafts.
           The International Bazaar Luxembourg is the largest international and annual fundraising event in Luxembourg of which all the profits are donated to humanitarian projects around the world.
