Thailand Open House” at the Thai Residence in Brussels
On 3 July 2024, the Royal Thai Embassy in Brussels organised Thailand Open House to thank friends of Thailand from Belgium and EU agencies and organisations who have been working closely with the Embassy. One of the main objectives of the event was to also introduce and thank Oasis Belgium Oasis Belgium, the Embassy’s partner in taking care of Thai nationals in Belgium. In 2023 alone, OASIS Belgium helped more than 160 foreigners in Belgium, including 117 Thai women in Belgium. ( www.oasisbe.com)
The event intended to also showcase Thailand’s cultural culinary and performances. Varieties of Thai dishes prepared by the Ambassador’s chef were served. The Embassy also invited Moradokmai troupe คณะละครมรดกใหม่ สำนักศิลปะการละครเพื่อการพัฒนา, a talented Thai youth group homeschooled in both classical Thai and western music by Thailand’s National Artist Kru Chang, Janaprakal Chandruang, to perform at the event.
More than 120 partners and counterparts attended and enjoyed Thai hospitality at the event.
