On 17 September 2025, the Royal Thai Embassy in Brussels led representatives from Flanders’ FOOD, namely Mr. Maarten Uyttebroek and Ms. Inge Dirinck, on a field visit to Kubota Farm, the modern agricultural learning and innovation center of Siam Kubota Corporation, a joint Thai-Japanese investment. The delegation was warmly welcomed by Mr. Pramote Sukprasert, Assistant Manager of Kubota Farm.
The visit aimed to showcase Thailand’s capacity in integrating agricultural machinery with the concept of Smart Farming, as well as utilizing the farm as a comprehensive hub for agricultural learning, innovation, and experimentation.
This field visit also provided opportunities for the Belgian representatives to exchange perspectives and experiences with Thai experts, while exploring potential cooperation in agricultural innovation, machinery, and productivity enhancement. The Royal Thai Embassy reaffirmed its readiness to support and facilitate collaboration between the Thai private sector and European innovation organizations, especially from Belgium.
