On 24 March 2026, Team Thailand in Brussels supported the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives of Thailand and the Agricultural Research Development Agency (ARDA) in the presentation of Thailand’s national traceability platform for EUDR products – EUDRThai.com – at the 40th EUDR Multistakeholder Meeting.

During Thailand’s presentation, Ms. Narumol Sanguanvong, Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives of Thailand, expressed Thailand’s commitment to implementing the EUDR in order to maintain the country’s market share in the EU and achieve environmental goals to reduce deforestation. She noted that the establishment of the platform EUDRThai.com will help Thai farmers and operators prepare Due Diligence Statements (DDS) in compliance with EUDR requirements. The platform was officially launched on 21 January 2026.

Subsequently, Mr. Phutthiwong Leangvichajalearn and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phisan Santitamnont, researchers from ARDA, presented detailed features of the platform, highlighting its key functions such as the use of highly accurate government databases covering cultivation plots and forest maps, risk assessment prior to issuing DDS, and the ability to compare various map layers with cultivation areas.

The EU side appreciated Thailand’s presentation and will support the platform’s utilisation among EU importers.

The EUDR Multistakeholder Meeting, held every two months, serves as a forum where the European Commission provides updates on the implementation of the EU Deforestation Regulation, and where participating countries and industry stakeholders exchange information, including best practices, concerns, and implementation-related constraints. Participants include representatives from EU Member States, partner countries, the private sector, NGOs, and international organisations.
