On 19 March 2026, H.E. Mrs. Kanchana Patarachoke, Ambassador of Thailand to the European Union together with Team Thailand in Brussels met with Ms. Panita Shinawatra, Acting Director General of the Office of SMEs Promotion of Thailand and her delegation. Both sides discussed ways and means to support Thai SMEs and enhance cooperation with European SMEs, including in digital and green transformation, promoting joint ventures, exploring new markets in Europe, and enhancing Thai SMEs’ readiness to comply with EU environmental regulations, e.g. EUDR, EU CBAM.
