On 8 June 2024, H.E. Mrs. Kanchana Patarachoke, Ambassador of Thailand to Belgium, and her spouse, as well as the Embassy's officials, visited the Thai language school of ThaiVlac in Antwerp, Belgium.
           Since 2011, Mrs. Lamphan Sanjamla (Kru Oua), President of ThaiVlac, has been teaching Thai language to Belgians who wish to learn Thai language out of their love for Thailand, Thai culture and Thai people. They have been spending their weekends learning Thai language to better understand the Thai culture. Ambassador Kanchana commended the determination of the Belgian students in studying Thai language for their spouses /partners and families, thanked Kru Oua and ThaiVlac for organising the courses and spreading Thai culture in Belgium, and pledged the Embassy’s continued support for such activities.
            ThaiVlac also offers classes on traditional Thai dances for young Thai-Belgian children. These young Thais are exemplary in their wish to learn the Thai culture and appreciate the cultural roots of their motherland.
