On 31 January 2025, Team Thailand in Brussels led by H.E. Mrs. Kanchana Patarachoke, Ambassador of Thailand to Belgium, met with MFA Thailand’s Working Group on Enhancing Efficiency of Public Service Management Abroad, led by Ms. Apiradee Anukrahanond, Assistant Permanent Secretary. Both sides discussed ways to identify and implement joint KPIs for government offices abroad as well as topics which can be identified for such KPIs such as green transition, food innovation, and Soft Power, with a view to boosting national competitiveness and standards. Also discussed topics such as administrative management, budgetary issues, and coordination between offices, where digital technology was highlighted as possible means for exchange of information both between agencies and with the public.
Furthermore, the Embassy has also requested MFA Belgium and EEAS to brief the Delegation on their organisation management in response to the changing global context.
