On 13 October 2024, H.E. Mrs. Kanchana Patarachoke, Ambassador of Thailand to Belgium and spouse, and officials of the Embassy and Team Thailand Offices in Brussels and family, participated in the Buddhist ceremony marking the end of Buddhist lent (17 October) and in memoriam of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great at Wat Dhammaprateep, Muizen (Mechelen), Belgium. Phra Khru Vides Sutamedhi, the Abbot, presided over the ceremonies, attended by Thais and their families and friends from Belgium and the Netherlands.
