On 13 September 2024, H.E. Mrs. Kanchana Patarachoke, Ambassador of Thailand to Belgium and Ambassador-Designate to the EU paid a courtesy call on Mr. Peteris Ustubs, Director for Middle East, Asia and Pacific, DG INTPA, with embassy staff and DG INTPA officials responsible for Thailand-EU cooperation also in attendance.

They discussed how to expand Thailand-EU cooperation on sustainability, especially under the Thailand-EU Comprehensive Partnership and Cooperation Agreement (PCA), the SWITCH-Asia programme, and Global Gateway, which is the EU’s strategy to support sustainable infrastructure, together with the green transition and digital transition.
