On 16 June 2025, H.E. Mrs. Kanchana Patarachoke, Ambassador of Thailand to Luxembourg, together with Counsellor Pathompong Singthong led the delegation from Luxembourg Stock Exchange (LuxSE) Luxembourg Stock Exchange – Ms. Fang Zhang, Regional Head for Asia-Pacific, and Mr. Guillaume Jacques, Sustainable Finance Analyst, Luxembourg Green Exchange Academy, to meet with Dr. Somjin Sornpisarn, President of the Thai Bond Market Association (ThaiBMA) and his team. Both sides exchanged information and statistics regarding overall situation of sustainable bond markets in Thailand, Luxembourg, and Europe, all of which are expanding in the same direction whereas the main issuer in Thailand is the public sector. ThaiBMA and LuxSE shared common priorities and tasks including providing data services and training. The two sides exchanged views on future cooperation in the areas such as upgrading ThaiBMA's ESG bond data platform, standardizing reporting format for Thai companies, using AI to assess post-issuance reports, increasing listing of Thai ESG bonds in LGX, diversifying issuers, empowering first-time issuers, and co-developing training programme for issuers.
