Announcement: Visa exemption 60 days for 93 nationalities

We are pleased to officially inform you that from 15th July 2024, the following 93 nationalities including Belgian and Luxembourgish are entitled to visa exemption for the purpose of tourism, business engagements, urgent work or ad-hoc work, for a period of up to 60 days which can be extended at the Immigration Office for another period not exceeding 30 days. Before the maximum stay of 90 days, you are eligible to apply for a new type of visa such as Non-Immigrant B for working in Thailand directly in Thailand. Regarding Visa On Arrivial (VOA), please see the details in the e-poster below.

More than that, we would like to introduce you to new types of visa which are

1. “Non-ED Plus Visa” aims to facilitate international students studying Bachelor’s degree or above in universities in Thailand so that they can depart and re-enter Thailand without the need for a re-entry permit. Also, foreign students are allowed to extend the stay in Thailand for 1 year after graduation, to seek employment, travel or participate in other activities, and they are eligible to apply for a new type of visa in Thailand if employed.

2. “Destination Thai Visa (DTV)” also aims to facilitate foreigners who want to spend time in Thailand doing activities such as Muay Thai, cooking classes, medical treatment, etc. (Please see details in the e-poster) It allows you to stay up to 180 days per entry multiple times within 5 years period.
