On 14 July 2025, H.E. Mrs. Kanchana Patarachoke, Ambassador of Thailand to Belgium, Luxembourg and the European Union, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Hua Ning, Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Luxembourg at the Chancery of the Embassy of China in Luxembourg.

           Both sides expressed satisfaction with the cordial bilateral relations between Thailand and China, which celebrate their 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations this year. They exchanged views on how Thailand and China could enhance their engagement in Luxembourg, and took the opportunity to discuss issues of mutual interest, particularly on regional and global developments in areas of economy and security.
