Ambassador of Thailand Presented Letters of Credence to His Majesty King Philippe of the Belgians
         On 30 May 2024, Her Excellency Mrs. Kanchana Patarachoke, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Kingdom of Belgium, was graciously granted an audience with His Majesty King Philippe of the Belgians, at Castle of Laeken presenting the letters of credence to His Majesty the King. Ms. Warunee Pan-krajang, Minister, Mr. Pornthep Srisanatorn, Minister for Agricultural Affairs, and Ms. Baralee Ratnapinda, Minister for Customs Affairs, accompanied the Ambassador at the audience.
          Her Excellency the Ambassador arrived in Brussels taking up her duties on 9 April 2024. On 11 April 2024, she presented copies of the letters of credence to the Chief of Protocol of the Federal Public Service Foreign Affairs of Belgium which enabled her to perform the functions of Ambassador-Designate.
          With the presentation of the letters of credence to His Majesty the King yesterday, she now officially performs the functions of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Kingdom of Belgium.
          At yesterday’s ceremony, the Ambassador was also granted a private audience with His Majesty the King during which issues on advancing Thailand-Belgium bilateral relations and strengthening of the Thai communities in Belgium were discussed.
