On 30 October 2025, the Royal Thai Embassy in Brussels together with Thai temples and Thai communities in Belgium hosted a merit-making ceremony on the occasion of the seventh day following Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother's passing, at Wat Thai Dhammaram Waterloo in Belgium. The ceremony was participated by 8 monks from Wat Thai Dhammaram, Wat Buddharama, and Wat Dhammapateep. H.E. Mrs. Kanchana Patarachoke, Ambassador of Thailand to Belgium, her spouse, officials and staff of the Royal Thai Embassy and Team Thailand, their families, as well as members of the Thai community in Belgium attended the ceremony. The ceremony was held to pay tribute and express profound gratitude for Her Majesty’s boundless grace and benevolence.
