On 15 May 2024, H.E. Mrs. Kanchana Patarachoke, Ambassador-designate of Thailand to Belgium, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Jorge Trindade Neves de Camões , Ambassador of Timor-Leste to Belgium, on occasion of her assumption of duty.
Both sides welcomed the close development partnership between Thailand and Timor-Leste in support for the latter to achieve the milestones for its ASEAN membership.
They also discussed ways to promote knowledge sharing and cooperation on sustainable development with the European Union.
