The Royal Thai Embassy in Brussels participated in the 11th “Discover Thailand in Bruges 2025” festival and organised the 2nd Mobile Consular Services of 2025
          On 8 June 2025, Mrs. Nadariya Nopakun Phromyothi, Chargé d'affaires, a.i., Royal Thai Embassy in Brussels, together with the Embassy’s diplomats and staff, participated in the 11th edition of Discover Thailand in Bruges at ‘t Zand Square. On this occasion, the Chargé d'affaires presided over the opening ceremony together with Mrs. Minou Esquenet, First Alderman City of Bruges, and Mr. Christophe Ryffranck and spouse, Khun Chutharat, the organisers of the event.
The festival was a huge success attracting over 10,000 visitors, both Thai and Belgian, who came to enjoy a rich cultural experience showcasing the sights, sounds, and flavours of Thailand. The event featured Thai classical dance and music performances, as well as over 60 stalls offering authentic Thai cuisine, beverages, handcrafts, Thai products, bringing the spirit of Thailand to the heart of Flanders.

          The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) Paris Office, responsible for promoting Thai tourism in Belgium, and Thai Airways International also set up information booths to promote Thailand as a top travel destination and introduced the convenience of Thai Airways’ daily direct flights between Brussels and Bangkok, which drew intense interest from visitors.
In parallel, the Royal Thai Embassy organised its 2nd Mobile Consular Service of 2025 at the Le Bois de Bruges Hotel near the festival grounds, providing consular services to more than 30 Thai nationals.
