Thai Airways Resumes Daily Direct Flights between Bangkok-Brussels on 1 December 2024

           On 1 December 2024, Thai Airways International (THAI) resumed daily direct flights between Bangkok to Brussels. To celebrate this occasion, Brussels Airport organized a reception at Compass Lounge, Brussels Airport. About 150 people attended the reception, including Ambassadors of both countries, THAI executives and representatives, who traveled to Brussels to participate in activities for the inaugural flight. Other participants included representatives from the public and private sector of Belgium, representatives of local travel agencies and media, as well as, the Heads of Thailand Team Offices in Brussels, as well as officials from the Royal Thai Embassy and Team Thailand.
During the opening ceremony, H.E. Mr. Alexander De Croo, Prime Minister of Belgium, gave opening remarks highlighting the long standing relations of the two countries and that the direct flight, offering both passengers and cargo services, will help strengthen people-to-people, economic and trade connectivity.
