On 20 September 2024, the team of Thai Airways International paid a call on the Ambassador and informed the opening of the new daily direct flight from Bangkok to Brussels on 1 December 2024. Both sides also discussed ways to promote the route and reach out to new market in Europe. Thai Airways International highly hopes that this daily flight will connect passengers from Europe to Thailand and within Southeast Asia, and offer an alternative to facilitate passengers who wish to avoid the congestion of major airports surrounding Belgium.
