On 20 April 2025, H.E. Mrs. Kanchana Patarachoke, Ambassador of Thailand to Belgium, together with Ms. Siribhusaya Ungphakorn, Minister for Commercial Affairs, officials from the Embassy, and the Office of Agricultural Affairs in Brussels, attended a merit-making ceremony and Songkran Festival at Buddharama Temple, Sint Niklaas, Belgium. The event was well attended by over 200 people.

The merit-making ceremony and Songkran Festival at Buddharama Temple, Sint-Niklaas, Belgium, is held annually thanks to the strong cooperation of the Thai communities. This year the temple will hold other two main merit-making events to mark the beginning of the three-month monastic retreat in July and the Kathin ceremony in October. Thais and non-Thais alike are welcomed to participate in all merit-making events. You can also visit the temple at other times for Dharma practice. Blessings to all!
