On 4th December 2023, the Royal Thai Embassy hosted a reception on the occasion of the National Day of the Kingdom of Thailand, Birthday Anniversary of HM King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great and Thailand’s Father day at Steigenberger Wiltcher’s Hotel, Brussels. On this occasion, H.E. Mr. Sek Wannamethee, Ambassador of Thailand and Head of Mission to the European Union, presided over the reception and delivered the welcoming remarks. The Honourable Mr. George Dallemagne, Vice President of the Belgium-Thailand Inter-parliamentary Friendship Group, was the guest of honour and also gave remarks. The reception was attended by about 200 members of diplomatic community in Brussels, friends of Thailand from both public and private sectors of Belgium and the EU as well as representatives of Thai community in Belgium.
