On 26 October 2024, H.E. Mrs. Kanchana Patarachoke, Ambassador of Thailand to Belgium, H.E. Mr. Tej Bunnag, Secretary-General of Thai Red Cross, their spouses, officers and staff of the Royal Thai Embassy in Brussels and Offices of Team Thailand in Brussels, attended the Buddhist ceremony for consecration of the White Jadeite Buddha Statue at Wat Buddharama, Sint Niklaas, Belgium, on the occasion of 20th anniversary of the Temple. Phra Raja Visuddhivides, the Abbot of Wat Thai Buddharam, led the chanting and blessing together with other 8 monks including those from Luxembourg, Sweden and the Netherlands. There will also be Buddhist ceremonies at the Temple to celebrate Kathina ceremony and the Buddha statue tomorrow and on Monday 28 October. Please come join us.
Wat Buddharama, Belgium, was established in 2004 with Phra Kru Siribuddhiwongsevides as the Abbot ever since. This year marks the auspicious occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Temple.
