On 18 August 2024, H.E. Mrs. Kanchara Patarachoke, Ambassador of Thailand to Belgium, presided over the Buddhist ceremony on the occasion of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit the Queen Mother’s 92nd Birthday Anniversary and Thailand’s Mother’s Day, at Wat Dhammapateep, Muizen, Belgium. Heads of Team Thailand offices based in Brussels, namely, Mr. Songkhla Chulakasian, Minister (Agriculture), and Mr. Somkiat Kamolpun, Minister Counsellor (Science and Technology), together with the Embassy’s and Team Thailand’s officials also participated in the ceremony. Phra Khru Videssutamedhi, the Abbot of Wat Dhammapateep, led the chanting and gave a dharma talk stressing on the importance of self development in order to be able to help others.
