On Sunday 1 March 2026, from 9.30 to 17.30 hrs., the Royal Thai Embassy in Brussels, led by Mr. Nutt Svasti-Salee, Counsellor/Consul, and the Embassy's consular staff, organised a mobile consular service at Sala Garibaldi, Hyllit Hotel, Antwerp, Belgium. The service was part of the Royal Thai Embassy's proactive consular outreach initiatives to facilitate access to consular services for the Thai community in Belgium.

 

On that day, approximately 30 Thai nationals and their families were provided consular services, namely passport renewals (12 cases), document services for Thais (11 cases) and counseling on consular matters (7 cases).

 

Moreover, OASIS Belgium NGO staff also took part in the Royal Thai Embassy in Brussel's mobile consular service by providing useful information for Thais residing in Belgium, contacts of relevant Belgian administrative authorities, as well as counselling for Thai nationals who may have difficulties resulting from family issues, domestic violence, or are among vulnerable groups without support system, etc.
