Meeting between representatives of the Office of the Attorney General of Thailand and Department of Mental Health and Oasis Belgium
On 23 September 2024, the Royal Thai Embassy in Brussels organized a meeting between the representatives of the Office of the Attorney General of Thailand and Department of Mental Health (who were speakers during the Embassy’s recently organised empowerment sessions) and Oasis Belgium.
The meeting was held at the Oasis Belgium Office to discuss the ongoing work of Oasis Belgium in helping foreign nationals including Thais living in Belgium and Luxembourg who faced difficult situations. Views and experiences on assisting those in need, overcoming language barriers and cultural differences which often hinder access to legal assistance and psychological services for Thai nationals living abroad, and interdisciplinary approach of cooperation were discussed. The Embassy welcomes any activities and cooperation initiatives to empower Thai nationals in Belgium and Luxembourg.
