On 27 August 2026, H.E. Mrs. Kanchana Patarachoke, Ambassador of Thailand to Belgium, hosted a farewell dinner in honour of Mrs. Birgit Stevens, Director General for Bilateral Affairs of the Federal Public Service Foreign Affairs of Belgium, at the Ambassador's Residence. The event was warmly attended by Director for Asia and Chief of Protocol, Ambassadors or Charged’ Affaires diplomats from Asia Pacific embassies in Brussels, members of Team Thailand, officials of the Royal Thai Embassy, and distinguished guests.

 

The dinner was held to express profound appreciation to Mrs. Birgit Stevens for her dedication and close collaboration throughout her tenure. She played a pivotal role in strengthening diplomatic relations, mutual understanding, and bilateral as well as multilateral cooperation between Belgium and international partners. We wish her great success and happiness in all her future endeavors and next chapter.
