On 21 and 22 September 2024, the Royal Thai Embassy organised empowerment sessions on legal knowledge and well being for Thai nationals in Belgium and Luxembourg. Around 30 Thai nationals including Thai volunteer consuls in Belgium and Luxembourg attended in person at the Marriott Grand-Place Hotel and many followed the Embassy’s Facebook live. The speakers are invited from various agencies from Thailand and within Belgium including the Office of the Attorney General of Thailand, Thai Department of Mental Health, Jimi the Coach Group, Begian Immigration Office, and Bouclier notarial society in Begium. Knowledge ranging from laws and regulations as related to one’s life cycle, how to promote physical and mental wellness as well as how to live happily were shared and discussed.
