On 30 May 2025, Her Excellency Mrs. Kanchana Patarachoke, Ambassador of Thailand to Belgium, together with her spouse, diplomats, and officials of Team Thailand in Brussels, organised a Buddhist ceremony to commemorate the Birthday Anniversary of Her Majesty Queen Suthida Bajrasudhabimalalakshana of Thailand (3 June 2025). The ceremony featured Buddhist chanting led by five monks, including the Abbots of Wat Thai Dhammaram Belgium, Wat Buddharam Belgium, Wat Dhammapateep Belgium and Wat Thai Buddharam Luxembourg followed by merit-making through almsgiving and food offerings to wish H.M. the Queen good health, happiness, and prosperity in the years to come.

The Embassy organised the homage-paying ceremony, the lighting of candles, and the signing of the book of well-wishes in honour of H.M. the Queen. The ceremonies were attended by diplomats and Embassy’s staffs, officials and staffs of Thai authorities in Brussels and their family.
