On 9 October 2025, H.E. Mrs. Kanchana Patarachoke, Ambassador of Thailand to Belgium, led the officials and spouses, as well as staffs of the Team Thailand in Brussels, in a Buddhist ceremony on the occasion of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great Memorial Day 13 October 2025, at the Royal Thai Embassy.

 

Later on, H.E. the Ambassador of Thailand led the officials and spouses, as well as staffs of the Team Thailand in Brussels in the garland offering ceremony and the candle lighting ceremony in honour of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great.

His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great (King Rama IX) was the father of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua (King Rama X).
