n 4 August 2025, the Royal Thai Embassy in Brussels and the offices of Team Thailand in Brussels organised a volunteer activity on the occasion of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother’s birthday anniversary on 12 August 2025 at the social canteen of RestO & Compagnie, a non-profit organisation in Braine-l’Alleud, Belgium (address: Place du Môle 11, Braine-l'Alleud), by providing Thai food prepared by the chef of the Thai Residence, for around 65 seniors, elderly with low pension, and those in need.
RestO & Compagnie was founded in 2014 as a social canteen of the city of Braine-l’Alleud where lunch is served at affordable price (5 euros) for homeless, seniors with low pension, low-income families and those in need. The organisation’s volunteers led by Mr. Ginot, Ms. Nicole, Mr. Bernard and their team, gather ingredients and prepare meals every day.
