On 25 February 2025, H.E. Ms. Kanchana Patarachoke, Ambassador of Thailand to Luxembourg, met with Ms. Véronique Dockendorf, Director-General of the Department of Political Affairs, Mr. Sam Schreiner, Asia Director, and Mr. Felix Losch, Thailand Desk Officer, at the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, Defence, Development Cooperation, and Foreign Trade of Luxembourg.

Both sides discussed ways to enhance cooperation across various sectors, including exchanges of high-level visits, meetings under the Political Consultation mechanism between the two foreign ministries, trade and investment promotion, sustainable finance, and trilateral development cooperation in the Lao PDR. They also explored avenues to strengthen people-to-people ties, particularly in cultural cooperation and the Schengen visa waiver for Thai passport holders initiative, and exchanged views on global issues of mutual interest.
